Los Gatos Shakespeare Festival

Romance, tragedy, belly laughs, and adventure return to Los Gatos this summer with the 12th Annual Los Gatos Shakespeare Festival. Our 2013 Season features three plays in repertory: The Tragedy of Hamlet and The Comedy of Errors by William Shakespeare, and The Further Adventures of the Three Musketeers, an original adaptation by Mark D. Pickens. The festival runs in July in August at our outdoor venue at Oak Meadow Park in Los Gatos. All performances begin at 8 pm.

Tickets: $22 adults, $15 youth/seniors, Pre-order or pay at the door
Box Office: Opens at 7pm, doors open 7:30; general seating.
Showtime: All performances begin at 8:00pm (doors open at 7:30)
Venue: Oak Meadow Park is a beautiful 12-acre park adjacent to Vasona Park and features picnic tables, a playground area, Billy Jones Wildcat Railroad, and more!
Seating: 230 max; general seating. Chairs provided with risers so that every seat has an excellent view. Wheelchair seating available (please notify the box-office beforehand).
Parking: Parking is available at Oak Meadow Park. If you arrive early and a park attendant is charging for parking, say you're there for Shakespeare and parking will be free. There is a paved path from the parking lot that comes nearly to the door of the theatre so you don't have to walk across the lawn. If the Oak Meadow Park lot is full, try parking on University Ave. Avoid Vasona Park lot, which is locked before the show ends each night.
Picnics: Yes, the park has lovely places to picnic and play before the show. Wine is allowed with picnics, but not on its own.
Clothing: Bring layers, and maybe a blanket to stay warm; you’ll be glad by intermission every time.
Concessions: Hot drinks & sweet treats available at intermission; donations cheerfully accepted!
